We offer authoritative training which provides all the essential information delegates need, but also encourages lively debate to really get behind the reality of grappling with the issues in complex work situations. While having deep knowledge of their specialist subject, our consultants are not dry theorists – they have undertaken a variety of information governance positions in large and small organisations across a range of sectors.
Our training generally falls into three categories:
- Practitioner training: for IG practitioners, researchers, etc. on the practical application of law in health and social care
- Staff training: development and initial piloting of organisational training, particularly information risk, board-level briefings, Caldicott Guardians, and training as a risk mitigating control
- Generic training: IN DEVELOPMENT: training targeted at specific audiences. Currently in production training for independent contractors, ie GPs, dentists, opticians and pharmacists, on implementation of Data Protection Act 2018, incorporating General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
All of our training is offered either on site, or regionally hosted, although an elearning platform is being developed for our DPA 2018 training.
We are also often called on as public speakers and to facilitate meetings and stakeholder events. Please contact us if this is an area of interest.
You can visit us at Health and Care Innovation Expo – 5 and 6 September 2018 (Manchester Central).
